EMDR therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a structured therapy that encourages the patient to focus briefly on the trauma memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements), which is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memories. EMDR is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and PTSD symptoms.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the most common and best studied forms of psychotherapy. It is a combination of two therapeutic approaches, known as cognitive therapy and behavioral therapy.

The exact treatment approaches used will depend on the presenting issue or problem to be treated. The basic idea behind the therapy is always the same: What we think, how we behave, and how other people make us feel are all closely related – and they all affect our wellbeing.
